Hi! I have a 12 week old male boxer puppy and every time I play with him he bites. I want to run around and play with him, but his sharp little teeth hurt so much. I have tried shaking a can with coins in it when he bites and he stops for awhile but then bites again. Also I have tried screaming and pretending to cry like I am in great pain when he bites me, but he just bites again and starts barking. What can I do to teach him not to bit me when I am trying to play with him?

Dont run around and play,  this is why he is getting excited and nipping. Play appropriate games,  using toys designed for dogs, such as balls, tug of war etc.  When he starts nipping you have to ignore him competely.  Leave the room, and dont play with him for at least 10 mins.  Like a time out.
