drooling question

Hello, I just noticed that my dog has been uncontrollably dripping from one side of his mouth - he has pools of saliva wherever he lays...this is not normal, and i'm just wondering if it's serious enough to see a vet or what could possibly be the issue...maybe something is swollen and changing the shape of how his mouth rests?

Thank you for writing to me.  I would definitely recommend to get your dog to a vet as soon as possible.  There are so many things that could be causing this from a stroke to an obstruction...it's possibilities are endless, and potentially serious.
