Question
could you please tell me to your knowledge, how unusual is a pure white JR, no markings at all, if indeed it is. (but pup is only 3 days old). many thanks Sharon

Answer
Many dogs are born white, and change colours as they get older, dalmatians for example are ALWAYS born pure white,as are australian Cattle dogs, and JRT's are sometimes as well, not always

However, usually a JRT born white will be one that is mostly white, white with a few light coloured patches-although I have seen full grown JRT's that do stay white, and isn't as uncommon as you would think

The best way to know,is to wait until the pup is about 5 weeks, and if by then there are no marking it will be a white one-but like i said it isn't unusually within the breed
