pet help

Question
I have 2 dogs.
1. A siberian Husky purebreed
2. A mixed smaller dog

Our husky had heartworms, we spent 800 dollars to get her treated.  Now we have hte other dog that has heartworms, with not "that" much money to treat him.  It's like 850 dollars total per treatment.  I really, really want to keep him, and want to get him treated, but I need to find cheaper options.  What options would be available, or cheaper options might be available for pet care in specifically.

I live in Smyrna Georgia, I just need a cheaper place.  Hopefully 500 maybe instead of 800, just something fair, where I can take care of my pet, and keep him, without killing myself financially.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi Joyel,
The only thing I can sugggest is to call around to different Vets. Prices will vary.  There is no other way to get rid of heartworms, than to let a licensed Vet treat him.  Check around, you will be surprised how different Vets charge different prices.
