puppies first season

hi i have a German shepard cross puppy and she is almost 6 months old i was just wondering what age she is likely to have her first season and what are the signs to look for also what age is best to let her have a litter if i decide to thanks

First season arrive anywhere from 4 months to 2 years old.  She will swell in the vulva area and bleed.  She will probably lick herself a lot.  I wouldn't let her have a litter, they become more aggressive after a litter.  She will be a better dog if you spay her early.  But if you decide to have a litter, then not before 2 years old.
