Adding a puppie to the family

Hello,
We currently have a 4 yr old male pitbull and he has been through many training classes and he honestly is the perfect family dog.  Now we would like to bring in another male pitbull puppy and wanted to know if this is a good idea.  Both of the dogs will be fixed.  We've been hearing conflicting answers and I'm just trying to do as much research I can so we can get our dog a playmate.

Hi Jamie,
I don't recommend bring two pitbulls in together unless you are such a powerful leader that they won't fight.  But that is a rarity and a whole bunch of work.  Why not a female?  Spay her early and you will have a peaceful home instead of a "working" home.
