my dog cant walk

i have a cocker spaniel mixed with a beagle and this morning my family and i saw that he couldn't walk with his back left leg. he tries to walk but he is just limping to much and sometimes he just starts to whine about his leg! i really need to know what to do because i am scared it could have broken or something

You need to get your dog into the vet immediately! This could be anything from Lyme Disease, a pulled muscle, a broken leg, a broken toenail, a dislocated hip, or even a back problem... just for starters. Obviously the dog is in pain, and only your vet can make a determination as to the cause. Hopefully, it isn't anything too serious.
