Question
How long do the females stay in heat.

Answer
most females will have a heat cycle, once or twice per year. the part which is of most consern is the period which starts with with bleeding and ends 21-18 days later the key dates to watch are from the 10th to the 20th day after first signs of bleeding. these are the days when the female is most likely to except the male and be bred. this does not exclude the rest of the days but are the days that most breeders try to breed. they focus on the 10th and 14th days but each female is different. Anyone who has an unspayed female should be aware of this.
