Green Tea Extract Safe?

Hello,

Is it safe to give my Golden a Green Tea Extract once a day (considering that Green Tea prevent cancers/boast the immunity....Goldens are prone to cancers, etc)? My extract has 40mg of caffein per capsule. I am not sure if that's too much for a dog (although I heard caffein isn't goid for dogs). Or should I got for a decaff Green Tea Extract?

Hello Ray,

I would not give a dog something that is not made for them.  The caffeine in the extract is also to high.  The better choice would be to get a canine supplement that has cancer fighting ingredients in it such as NuVet Plus.  You can go here www.nuvet.com/42299 to read all about it.
