Dog breathe

I am half an ameature for dogs, so I don't know everything
I want to know how to cure a bad case of bad breathe
sometimes they smell like stinky cheese, dog food, waste, etc.  I don't want to spend anything so I want to make it home made.  Please tell me how cure my cute dogs' bad breath! :)
