Boxer dog illnes

Hello
I have a boxer dog who is 5 years old. Over the last few days i have noticed that he is drinking 5 large bowls of water a day, when he usually has 1 and he has now lost control of his bladder. I do have an appointment at the vets however i would like to know if it sounds like a virus or something more serious?

Your dog's increased drinking, and subsequent loss of bladder control may be something as simple as a bladder infection, or it could the a sign of diabetes or Kidney disease.

It's good you've already made an appointment with your vet, so treatment can begin, whatever the cause!
