Hi we have a Persian cat she is 9months old and we have never been able to brush her properly  we can brush  hr a little then she attacks us with her claws and bites us how can we stop this as we have to brush her to stop her hair from knotting up then the hard task of having to cut the knots out

Hello Veronica, you have a few choices, you can clip her nails and then wrap them is vet wrap to further protect yourself and then you can also use a cat muzzel to muzzel her to protect you from getting bitten.  I would also call around to a few local groomers who might be willing to give you a few hands on lessons of ways an experienced groomer holds a cat.  Theres nothing like hands on experience for learning.  Good luck and Thanks for asking, Cindy Lou :)
