Mini Schnauzer ears standing up

We have a 9 1/2 week old puppy which we got about a week ago.  When we first got her, her ears folded down.  Now, they have both started standing straight up like a rabbit!  We don't want to have her ears cropped, but would like them to fold down again.  Is there a way to accomplish this without surgery?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Many ears will do funky things during teething, but since yours are both upright at such an early age, it is undoubtedly genetic, and there is nothing to be done about it except to either crop those ears or to break the cartilage to get them to fold over again (*not* recommended!). If you don't wish to have them cropped, then just love your puppy for what she is.

When buying a puppy, look carefully at those ears. If there is ANY lift at all to them, I can guarantee that they *WILL* be going up. Normal puppy ears should hug the cheeks, and almost look "houndy". http://britmorschnauzers.com/ears.html
