Question
I am fostering a 1 year old weim, that I have had only a couple of days. I have noticed that he sneezes a lot. I am looking for some things to maybe help him out with this. It does not seem to be associated with itching or scratching. What type of things should I start looking at blankets, the cold, scents???? Thank you!

Answer
Start with blankets, and wash them in vinegar and baking soda, from there check his food. Does it have wheat? Soy? beef? by products? All of those are known allergens to all breeds of dogs. What about carpet? Any type of carpet fresh? Febreeze? Room fresheners? Baking soda is the best all natural carpet freshener, needs to be cleaned well, but works beautifully. If he isn't showing any other symptoms then I wouldn't worry about a cold, or virus. But do keep an eye on him just in case
Good luck!
