Question
I have a 3 year old neuted Wemaraner bitch. She constantly itches her eyes to the point of bleeding as well as the back of her ears and snout. She has had biopsys and blood tests which have all come back as negative. The vets solution is to put her on a dose of steroids, which does work but is not the road I want to go down. Is there any thing that anyone can recommend as a solution to help.

Answer
You can give her Benadryl Human allergy pills they were reccomended by my vet for my dogs with allergies and work well.

You want the 25 ML, thats twenty five ML in case of typo Benadryl Allergy pills(NOT childrens) they are normaly in a box that is pink and white. Give one every Twelve to TwentyFour Hurs depending on how bad she is. Just open the dogs mouth and push the pill down the back of the throt...this way your Sure she swallows it and doesn't eat the bread you might put it in and spit the pill out... a common occurance. You'll find these pills in your locle drug store.
