Training a golden retriver puppy & barking

I  will be geting a golden within a few weeks and wanted to know if they are easy to train,

Also does this breed tend to bark offen?

Generally Goldens are easy to train.  Of course every dog is different, just like people.  Goldens on average don't really bark alot.
