pit bull house training

Question

My female pit bull is six years old and has been raised in a kennel her whole life until now.  She is not house trained at all, and will pee and poop whenever our back is turned.  We take her outside on a regular basis and she will somtimes go.  Even on walks, she won't go.  She is terrible when it comes to housetraining.  I try disipline and back porch punishment. I put her on a chain in the back yard, she just barks and only goes to the bathroom if she really really has to, like first thing in the morning.  But when I go to work, she poops like 4 times in the house, it's awful.  Please help with some advice or we will have to give this dog away.

Answer
The best way is with a crate and the way to do that is to keep her in there all the time, except to take her outside,to feed her,to play with her,to take her on walks ect And do this for about three weeks, then slowly let her out more, but if another accident happens back in the crate she goes for another week
