Breeding age of St.Bernard Males

We have a 8 month old St.Bernard male weighting approximately 115 lbs is he potent to breed females at this age?

Hi Michelle-

Males can breed as early as 4 months, however that doesn't necessarily mean they should! I highly suggest waiting until he is two- by that age you can tell if there are any genetic faults (through testing) that you dont want to pass down to future puppies.
