my puppy throwing up

my puppy has been throwing up the color of it is yellow
she doesnt eat she sleeps the whole day shes about 8 months shes been like this for 3 days now. what should i do? what kind of medicine can i give her?

Hi Karla,

The throwing up the frothy yellow stuff means your dog's stomach is empty. By itself, that isn't a symptom of whatever her problem is.

If your dog was just throwing up, I'd say put her on a bland diet to see if things improve. But because she's not acting like herself besides throwing up, and because this is going on for a few days, then it's time to have her examined by your vet.

It's impossible to guess at what the problem is, and besides, your dog deserves more than guesswork! Whatever the problem is, it's not going away on it's own.
