dog feces in yard

my dogs feces looks normal when she goes, but over the last few days, there has been what looks like a white fuzzy substance covering some of the places where she goes.  What would cause this

If your dog's feces look okay when she goes, but takes on a whitish substance days later, it's a good bet that your dog's health isn't in question. If your dog stools get lose, or has mucus in it, then it's time for a check up.

Depending on the temperature of where you live, it might be bacteria breaking down the stool, or frost. It might even be mold. Whatever the case, it's best to remove dog feces from your yard.
