Beagle doesnt like chew toys

We recently got a beagle from a rescue, and he doesn't like any of the chew toys that we got him. We even got him a medium cong and he will not even work for the peanut butter snaps, he will only eat the if their not in the cong. He only likes to work for the liver-snaps, and we only had one of those.
Is their anything wrong with what we got him, or is their something else that we are missing?

Hello, I reccomend Trying Nyla bones the durable ones, my dogs love these and always ignored the kongs regardless of what was inside. You can also offer rawhides under supervision and you can get beef knuckles/bision marrow bones and simler things from petshops the dogs relaly like chewing on they are normaly smoked. I don't reccomend ham bones they break very easily even with smaller dogs.
