MY SHITZU IS 1 YEAR OLD AND JUST YESTERDAY SHE STARTED ACTING REALLY WEIRD.SHE WOULD JUST JUMP UP AND START BITING AT HER TAILEND.AND SHE WOULD RUN FROM ROOM TO ROOM.SEEM LIKE TO ME SHE WAS TRYING TO GET CONFORTABLE.SHE ATE SOME DECORATIVE PINECONES MY WIFE HAD OUT.COULD THIS BE SOME OF HER PROBLEM.SHE DID VOMIT ONCE.SHE ISN,T FOLLOWING COMMAND,S VERY WELL EITHER.

Hi Terry,

It sounds like something is causing your dog to be uncomfortable. If she continues to act different that how she usually behaves over the next 48 hours, then you should have her examined by your vet. If your dog develops diarrhea, starts to vomit, or acts lethargic you shouldn't wait 48 hours before you seek treatment.

She may have part of that pine cone stuck in intestinal tract or rectum and she's unable to pass it, and it's causing her pain.
