Question
good morning,
i have 2 dogs a 1 1/2 yr old lhasa and a 6 month old lhasa. when i got the oldest i did everything to potty train him well and havent had a problem .he is simply the best. well 2 months ago we got his sister and well i slacked off and didnt train her. my question is ,is it too late to try to train her since i have had her for 2 months already? will she still be able to catch on? with the oldest i did crate training and im going to use the same with her. i guess you can say shes partially trained because she does use a crate and she doesnt have accidents at night and for the 4 hours im away at work. im just not confident letting her roam the house a lot yet.

Answer
You can try again Ruth.
Set up your routine, as if they were just young pups, and carry them  to the area you want them to use....then Praise Praise Praise!!!
The way to go is also with a Kennel area or an Exercise Pen...this way they will have the time to go and get their Exercise as well!!
This will seriously cut down the time you have to go in and out with them and watch.
So, consider this as a "Time saving" tip as well.
They can learn...as dogs are always trainable, it will just take more time for them to learn the routine, as they are older!
But, with patience, and love, you can do it!!!
Let me know how it goes, and I will await to hear back from you.
Best regards,
Melissa
