Yorkie and company

Question
My yorkie does not like my having company. He stares at the person and will growl if they go near him or if they get too close to me so I usually have to keep him confined to a separate room. He is 6 and yes, spoiled. Would training help or not with this particular issue?

Training would absolutely help with this.  He is in charge right now which always brings a dog anxiety,,if you get back in charge, he will be much better and he wont feel he has to protect you or his territory.....I recommend you watch Gloria Stillwell or get a Cesar Millan dvd to watch.  You will learn a tremendous amount.  and a picture (in this case) is worth at least 2000 words,.if you need help with specifics once you see the "big" picture, just write me at nanricfoxes@aol.com
