yorkie is a fussy eater

Hi .  Why does my yorkie like to eat the cat's dry food and not dog dry Food?
He will eat some wet dog  food for a while then he gets fussy and will not eat it.
he likes Human Food and thinks he should eat whatever and whenever  I eat.
I don't know what to do as he is getting thin and I am worried...
Is there a favorite food that all Yorkies like and I could put it with the Dry Food to make him eat his own dry Dog Food?
I prefer to feed him Dry as it is better for his teeth. Right?
Please help me.

Hello, Not all dogs will eat everything offered even dogs of the same breed will have there own tastes..one might perfer lamb and rice to chicken or beef. The best thing to do is put the cats food up where the dog cant get it..cat food has too much protine and isnt healthy for the dog to eat. Leave a dish of high quaility dry kibbles perfebliy in smaller kibbles for smaller dogs and leave it down, or you cna place it down tiwce a day which is what I do with my dogs what they eat they eat and if they leave it they dont get another meal until the next day...seems harse but my dogs caught on quickly nad now eat all of both there daily meals. Feeding table scraps leads to fat overweight unhealthy dogs dont feed table scraps for your dogs sake, canned food shouldnt be given in my experiacne as dogs get hooked on it and will only then eat soft food which is a killer to healthy teeth qwqhich will lead to rotten teeth plaqe build up and tooth loss/removal via surgery. But ti seems leaving down a good kibble is your best bet for now, dont offer treats or table scraps and he will eat his own food.
