Question
My mini is 1yr 5 months.  She vomits bile EVERY morning for a long time now.  The vet ran blood work and took x-rays nothing.  I'm worried what could it be?  I know this can't be good to do everyday.  Other than that she is fine no other symptoms.  She was on antibiotics still doing it.

Answer
Hi Nicole;
Did your Veterinarian NOT do further tests?
Von\miting fr that long sounds like it is too serious not to pursue until a difinate answer is found.
Mucus from a sinus infection can look like bile, but it should be tested to make sure what it is and what is causing it.
I don;t see where Xrays would help diagnose much about vomiting,other than once when the problem was my dog had a tumor in his esophogus, and bloodwork would find a virus and other things, but the Veterinarian I have used for the last 35+ years, and all the ones I had before that I STAYED with, tested until they knew for sure what was causing a problem.
Yes it gets expensive sometimes, but one of those situations did diagnose that huge tumor when would have killed my dog had it not been found.
The first exray didn't show it because it was too small to see, but 1 month later, it was big enough to show a shadow, and 2 months later it was very big. Hew sent me to a Veterinary cancer specialist for a biopsy, and then we had some emergency surgery that saved his life.
This dog also has serious sinus problems and vomited some mucus that looked like the same type of mucus, but after a medication for the sinus infection didn't stop it, other tests started.
Sounds like you are more like me, and want to KNOW what is making your baby sick.
If the Veterinarian dismissed the proble, and isn't  trying to find an answer, I would change Veterinarians, or at least seek another opinion.
