puppies & k9 advantix

We are getting a new puppy in a couple of weeks, and we already have 2 other dogs that we treat with k9 advantix. I was wondering if the puppy were to lick the other dogs would it be harmful to the new puppy?

Answer
You never want any dog licking off any pesticide/insecticide that has been put another dog. You should read the white information sheet that came in the K9 Advantix box to see exactly what warnings come with that product, but I am sure that taking it orally isn't intended.

However, that said, I doubt that a puppy is going to be spending too much time licking an adult dog; they are usually too busy to sit still long enough to do that<G>
