When to spay/neuter mini/toy poodle..

I have a one year old toy/mini ( not really sure what to say since she is kinda in between)... I never got her fixed because I work during the day and didnt want her to go through the pain by herself. Is it too late to do this? How long is the typical healing process? and when do you think I should do it?

It is never too late.  Early spay/neuter may not be as good as many suggest.  Go ahead and do it now, before she starts into heat again.  It is a permanent solution to the mess, hassle, and risk of the twice a year heat cycles.  Life should be easier for your and her, and it reduces chances of cancer later in life.
