Our minature poodle Ashley

Ashley is 8 months old and a little doll. Two questions:
(1)I recently started working part-time and she just started soiling the rug. She has been perfectly crate trained since she was 2 months old. What to do?
(2)She is a very light appricot. Her eyes run; can we do anything about this?

Answer
I am afraid you will have to crate her.  If you are going to be gone more than 4-5 hours at a time, find somebody to give her a break, a neighbor or professional dog walker.  A doggy day care is a great idea too.  

I have heard bottled water will eliminate the stains.  The refill your own jugs are only $.33/gal. at Wal-Mart.  We keep our friends Lab that must have bottled water, and that is what we do.   

Please let me know if the bottled water works.  I have never tried it.
