Question
my standard poodle Jazmin is 13 and has had a tumor on her left side for the last 3 years. It has now grown to a softball size. i don't have the money to take her to the vet. but i just don't know if theres something like "natural" that i can do.

Answer
Hello Michelle,
Chances are that the tumor is probably not cancerous, since it has been there for 3 years.  Since it is continuing to grow though, it should be looked at by a Vet.  If you can't take your girl to the Vet, at least give your Vet a call and talk to them about your dog.

As for something natural that you can do for her, I used this diet with my dog and it helped him with nutrition, vitamins and minerals.

1 lb Hamburger, Lamb, or Turkey Burger
1 can Sardines in Olive Oil
1 cup Spinach, blended with the Oil of the Sardines
1 egg scrambled
1 1/2 cup Special K or Total Cereal
1 Apple Blended (or you can use 1/2 cup of Applesauce)
1/8 tsp Garlic powder
1 grated carrot
1/2 cup brown rice, cooked using broth (either a meat or Veggie variety) for better flavor
1/2 cup Cottage Cheese (optional)

I would make this mixture up and keep it in a tupperware container in the fridge (it lasts about a week).  You can put a couple tablespoons in your dogs food everyday and she will love it.  It has vitamins and minerals that are good for her and will keep her healthy.
