Goldendoodles?

My toy poodle may or may not be pregnant with my golden retriever sire. I don't believe in abortion, but will this hurt her? Will she need a a C section? Thanks so much. You can't find much reliable information on this subject online.

Hello Claudia,
While it is difficult for such a large breed such as a Golden to get down to mate with a Toy Poodle, its not unheard of.  If your female is pregnant with Golden Retriever puppies, there may be some difficulties with the deliverly.  I would let your Vet know what has happened and have his number on hand.  At 45 days, you can get an ultrasound done to determine how many puppies are present and how big they are.  That way, you can have a better idea of what your female will be expirencing.  If the puppies are large, then its possible that she could need a C-section deliverly.
