Question
hi, our siberian husky, Oscar has lost his appetite he is still full of energy and seems to be his normal happy self but he just wont eat its been about 3 days now what do you suggest..

Answer
Give him something like lunch meat of something to see if he just isn't eating because he is bored with the food you are giving him. You can also take him to the vet to see if his anal glands need to be popped, of just share your concerns with the vet. I know of someone whose dog wasn't eating and they went in and had a blood test done only to find out there dog had a high amount of a hallucinogenic chemical in her blood. It turned out she was eating mushrooms out in the lawn. So asking your vets advice wouldn't be a bad thing to do if this continues.
But also sometimes, when Siberians hit the age of 1 they just decide that they aren't hungry sometimes.
But I would take him to the vet just to be safe.
