can my huskies sleep outside

Question
i have two huskies, they are in separate large cages at night to sleep. they are
in my garage, they have warm quilts and covers over their cages, the garage
has brick walls and a door, can they stay in there through the winter, i live in
England Manchester, i have a heater which i am going to put in there also in
the colder months, at present they are 5 and 3 and a half months old, they
are in there at present to stop them chewing my house at night, i have
bought them large cages and this would be a pain to keep bringing in each
night, but obviously i would if you feel its inappropriate for them to be in the
garage. many thanks

Answer
I think they will be okay if they can be together it might help if it gets cold (they ball up together) But if the weather is really bad keep them inside. I would leave a thermometer in the garage if it gets below 25F in there being that they are puppies frost bite can still be a problem. If they where over a year old I wouldn't find this a problem at all since they are in a wind break and they should have enough body mass (over a year) to maitain there tempurature. Be sure to feed them more food also so they have more energy to burn to help warm themselves.
