AnswerYou should never consider breeding relatives - inbreeding is poor breeding practice and produces substandard and sometimes problem dogs - genetic issues, poor conformation, health issues, etc. Why would you want to would be my question? Breeding takes a lot of knowledge, a lot of money if done properly, and there are thousands of homeless and needy dachshunds out there wanting a home. Rescues are full. If you must breed, find an unrelated dog. But remember the sad and abused and homeless dogs too!
