Dachshund has noisy tummy

Hi
Our 6 month old mini gets an upset stomach about once a month. Her stomach makes some very loud "upset tummy" type noises which usually lasts about a day. During this times she won't eat, but seems fine otherwise.
Is their anything I can give to calm things down? I've  encouraged her to eat grass but it doesn't help.

Grass will not help - it often makes them throw up.  Check with your vet as this could be a sign of other problems first.  You might also put her on some probiotics - they make them for dogs and it helps with digestion.  Make sure it does not give her diarrhea as I have heard that it can in some dogs but mine are on it with no issues.  I think it is really important to have her checked with the vet - she could have colitis, ulcers, etc.  Sometimes you can use a little pepto bismol but again check first before doing anything.
