Hi i have a 1 1/2 pibull he really is a awsome dog lovein kinda sweet. but he is not fixed yet. he gets along well with all animals but last night my little girls kitten ran outside as i was getting beaux(dog) of his chain an he attacked an killed it. he didton act on it untill my aunt dog came around. what should i do will getting him fixed help some. this is first vilent act. an now that he has tasted blood im concerned.

Pitbulls naturally have high prey drive. Who knows what set him off on the kitten, but my guess is the kitten was running and that just set meant he had to catch it.

I would get him neutered asap. This should have been done about a year ago. Neutering won't stop his prey drive, but it should be done anyway.  Right now, don't be too concerned, but if it happens again, it's time for decision making.
