my cat throwing up

Hello.  I've owned cats all my life so I know that from time to time, they throw up because of the hair balls I guess.  Rectntly howeve, my cat threw up and it came out brown.  As I told you, when it happened in the past with my other cats or even with my current cat, it usually comes out clear but this time it was brown.  Almost the same color as poopy.  Do you think it was something he ate that made it come out that color?  I feed him though.  Do you have any thoughts?

Did this only happen once or it continuing? If the cat is eating OK and you don't notice any other signs of illness I wouldn't be too concerned. It was possibly something he ate or an ingredient in some food may not have agreed with him.

Your cat may have worms which would cause him to vomit. Hopefully the cat did not eat something toxic. I would keep my eye on him and if the vomiting continues I would take the cat to the vet.
