cat has a scratch on her back

Question
Hi,
We have 2 cats and they get along pretty well but sometimes they play fight. About a week ago, we noticed that one cat had a scratch on her shoulder blades and up toward the back of her neck. (both cats are de-clawed in front but not in back).

The scratch had already scabbed over and seemed to have been healed because the scab fell off when we were petting her. It looked like there was a little scar. Just now we noticed that it seemed to have opened up and there was a tiny bit of blood. It's not actively bleeding just a bit on the top. I want to take her to the vet but we can't find a place that's open on a saturday night of 8:30.

I called a friend who has 5 cats and she said to smell it to see if it seemed infected and it has no smell; and to clean & treat it with alcohol or something and then put neosporin on it, because of where it's located it will just keep opening up. Is this what we should do? Should we still take her to the vet once they open?

Thank you for any advice!!

Answer
I am sorry, I tried to answer this when I received it, but my computer crashed before I could get the answer sent.

Don't worry about the scratch unless it does not heal or if it infects.  Just keep an eye on it.  It should heal up just fine.  Let me know if I can ever help again.  And again, I am sorry about the delay in answering.

Hugs,
