Question
my dog is suffering from dizziness and she struggles to open her mouth. what is the cause.

Answer
Hi Wes!
I don't know how long your dog has been suffering with this condition, hopefully not long. I really don't know what is wrong with your dog, but because it involves balance and muscle control (not opening it's mouth), it sounds serious. Your dog needs to see a doctor.

Potential causes of pain on opening the mouth, such as retrobulbar abscess, retrobulbar tumor, oral injuries or foreign bodies, swollen submandibular lymph nodes (or general lymph node swelling) and dental problems. The dizziness sounds like a neurological problem.

You should make an appointment with your vet A.S.A.P.

I hope this has been helpful and I wish you the the best of luck! Please keep me posted and give her tons of get well kisses for me!Sending wagging tails your way!
