Question
What is causing my Toy Fox Terrier to have irritated anal glands.  What can I do to give my pet some relief?  Is it true that once a dog has problems, they will be prone to that problem?  This is the 3rd time this has happened and my pet is suffering.

Answer
June:  Your baby needs a good food and supplements.  You may not have any more problems if you follow my suggestions.
Also, if you think the area is infected again, he may need to see the vet for antibiotics.

Ok, Let's get this kid onto a grain free dog food / Innova EVO is a wonderful food, you can get small bites / adult formula.
You will feed less of this and the poops will be firm.

Next, give him some KELLOGS All BRAN cereal each day - give 1 teaspoon mixed into the dog food only 1 x per day.
Do this every day for 1 month.  Then, you can cut back to every-other-day.  Keep him on the All BRAN for a long time.  It is good for him!!!  Don't worry...

Last, NuVET Plus is a must for this little one-  A great Digestive Aid/ Supplement - Only sold thru breeders, kennels and vet offices.
Buy thru the Manufacturer and save over 45 % of what the VET will mark it up.

NuVet Plus - Wafer Treats ( you need 1 per day)  Will cost you about .55 to 60 cents per day.

Write to me in about 60 days and let me know how he is doing.
Anal Glad problems are 99% of the time related to how you are feeding your little one.
