I so pray you can help us!! I feel hopeless. I want her off the medicines that are killing her slowly. Pleas help!! She is my whole life!!

Answer
Ok, Let's help this gal get off the Steroids.  Glad she is on the Temaril-P - much less steroid in this medication.  Glad your vet is helping you get her off the strong steroids.
I see some problems with the food:

Here is my plan for your gal:
1.  Slowly change her to a grain-free food:  I sure do like the Innova Evo ( reduced fat) or the Merrick Before Grain reduced fat... If you can't find them, let me know and I can help you with another Grain-free choice.  Mix your food and the new food for 3 -4 weeks at a 50:50 mix.
After the time of 3-4 weeks, then go to 100% of the Grain-free feeding.
( treats - green beans, carrots, or Grain-FREE dog biscuts....

2.  If you must give table scraps - make up some cooked chicken breast for a table snack.
*No breads or pasta for this kid.... VERY bad for allergies.

3.  Vitamin C (ESTER C ) give (1) of a 250 mg each day... MUST be Ester C as it is easy on the belly to digest.  VERY safe:

4.  Please get Some Acidophalus  1 billion CFUs and give her 1/2 per day for 50 days.
This will help with her allergies and reduces excessive yeast bacteria on skin and in her gut.
YOU can find this at any Vitamin store - hide it in some WET food ( GRAIN free) or a pill pocket snack treat...
Same for the vitamin C - hide it

5.  THE last and a must:  NuVET Plus - I would love to see your Baby take 1 full NuVET wafer per day long term : Allergy Blaster and Immune System Booster / Most of my clients take the NuVET wafer or Powder each day.
GREAT results and LESS itchies will be seen in less than 30 days.
Helps to fight off the allergens that are hitting your kid.

So, a new food that is Grain-free ; Vitamin C ; NuVET Plus ; and the Probiotic - Acidophalus....
All fairly low cost - compared to the money you have been spending at the vet office.

To order NuVET - NOT sold in stores:  Holistic - Sold thru holisitic vet offices and the Manufacturer...
Call today :  1-800-474-7044
tell them Pet Nurse Marie sent you ... ASK for the NuVET Plus -
**tell them I want your baby on 1 1/2 Wafers per day, for the first 30 Days
**** after that, down to just 1 dosage per day.

the question was:

Dog allergic to dust mites ; weight gain from steroids;
Question: My dog is Madison. About 2 1/2 years ago she was itchy all the time. Had her tested and the vet said she was allergic to dust mites. She has been on steroids for two years. A few weeks ago I had her tested for cushions disease. The doctor said she did not have it. I have taking her off of the steroids and she is taking temp-P now. Still concerned with the blackhead appearance on her belly. What I'm trying to get at is do you know of anything that would help with her allergies to dust mites. If I don't give her her medicine she is so itchy and so uncomfortable and constantly gets infections around her butt and vagina. I don't know what to do anymore. I know these medicines are slowly killing her and she is showing side affects. Always thirsty and hungry. Overweight, blackhead appearance on belly , panting. Please help me and my dog Madison!!!
