mass in canines left nostril

First, thank you for taking the time to read this question.

Shadow a female canine of the retriever breed is approx. 9 years old and has had no major problems in the past.  However approximately one year ago her entire reproductive system was removed due to permeria ( I do not believe that I spelled it correctly, but it is the disease that female canine get when they have not been bred or spayed).  Several months ago, Shadow was outside fetching the ball, but instead of picking up the ball, she shoved a bunch of soil into her nose, we cleaned it out and that was that, until several months later both her nostrils began to bleed; we took her to the vet,and she prescribed Vitamin K for fourteen days, and Shadows' bloody nose stopped. On DEC. 11th of 2009 her left nostril began to bleed, so again we took her to the vet. We asked if he could prescribe the Vitamin K again, but he chose to prescribe Prednisone 20 mg one tab. every 12 hours orally for the first 10 days, then one tab. once a day there after; the 2nd med is Doxycycline 100mg. 3 tabs. every 12 hours with food; after 3 weeks slowly wean to lowest effective dose.
Today my vet finally told me that the mass that was growing in the left nostril was probably going into the right nostril and that surgery would probably not fix the problem.

I do believe that her diet has something to do with it, based on her age. However; I still believe that holistic medicine can work for her, as it has worked for me.  

Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Oh! almost forgot the vet did perform a blood test.

I think that I would contact a holistic vet about this issue, perhaps Dr Gerald Wessner at 352-245-2025.

I would also look into a product called N-K9 which is an amazing product for boosting Natural Killer cell activity. There should be much info on it on the website for American BioSciences, Inc. I think that this may be your answer, or at least a large part of it.

Also, I would put her on a raw food diet in order to be sure to bring her body into proper upper PH. This should help at least stop the tumor from spreading.
