Question
Please help...:( our 8 year old shiz tzu has a bad fungus redness between his toes and his pads are sooo raw and gray looking.  he doesn't want fast anymore and I contribute it to that.  However, he aslo was diagnoes with hypothyriod disease and I have been treating him occassionally with coconut oil.  I have no excuses I have forgotten for a good month now and now this fungus, do you think it related to my neglegence or is there other issues that I now need to tend too.  Please help me...OHay, he also have these lumps in two places on his humb and neck.  The vet says it is a oil pocket and they will work themselves out but they are both getting bigger.  The vet too a sample of one and said it was bengin.  Could that be the two points I start with when I put flea stuff on him in the spring and monthly till Nov or so.  Please help me if this dog were to die, my son would die too.  Please help me.  Thanks so much. God bless.

Hi Paulette, Your little Shih Tzu needs to be on Thryoid Medication from your Vet.
Are you giving him a thyroid pill each day?
Also, what kind of food do you feed this little shih tzu?  ( Brand and Flavor)
What are you doing for baths?  ( shampoo or a solution)
