Please, any assistance will help...

Darren

Answer
If you have $2000 to $3000 extra to spend, let Rachel do the paperwork.  Absolutely ridiculous!
Do you have a problem taking dog to vet?  You would need to anyway.  No way can Pet Relocation
take your dog to the vet in Thailand.  Think about it.....
To enter UK, whether you go thru France, or anywhere else:
Dog needs: microchip   Rabies vac  Then, blood test done in that order.  Blood must be sent to
an approved lab.  DEFRA can advise as to nearest approved lab for you.  Then, wait 180 days from
date of blood draw.  I just do not understand your  mindset regarding France.  France has nothing
to do with this.  Things MUST be done in the order I stated.  Please, read what DEFRA has to say.
It will be 180 days from blood draw, no matter what you do.
If you need to go sooner, the dog can go into quarantine in UK for the remainder of the 180 days
Some places in EU you can set up an in home quarantine prior to entry into UK, but it is still
a total of 180 days before pet can enter UK for immediate release.
The programs Pet Relocation in Austin Texas offers are complete ripoffs.  Just be able and
willing to do a few things for yourself.

p.s.  If you were only going as far as EU on the continent: e.g. France, Germany, Spain, Italy,
etc  THEN you would only need wait 3 months after blood draw.  Then to go to UK, you still need
to spend another 3 months on the continent.  I can not impress upon you enough to read what
DEFRA has to say.  They have email address and phone # you can call them at.
