Question
Hello>

I am planning to move to Europe, Spain and i have a parrot. Is there a way to take him with me?

Answer
Hi Anna,

Thanks for your inquiry!
It is very difficult to transport parrots internationally -- most parrots need CITES permits which take some time to apply for and obtain.  You can go to www.cites.org to look up your parrot and learn more about the CITES process.

The best advice I have for you would be to arrange for a pet relocation service like ours to assist you, but it will take several months (sometimes 6 months or more) and will be several thousand dollars to transport him, depending on they type and size of your parrot.

If you need further assistance or would like for a professional to make your pet's arrangements, please contact me directly at my email address listed below.

Happy travels & wagging tails!
