Question
I was just wondering what would be a good list of fish would be for a 75 gallon reef tank. Thanks for the help!!!

Answer
Hi Jim. There are many fish to choose from when setting up a reef tank. Most of them are going to be dependant upon what kind of invertebrates your going to house in your tank. You are not going to want to keep too many or very large fish since the waste they produce can be too much for any corals you are going to be keeping. Small active reef safe species are best and really in a reef tank the fish are kind of an accent to your invertebrates. Some reef safe species are; tangs(only one in this size tank), dwarf angelfish(like flame, coral beauty, cherub angels... you can only keep one of these per tank) these both are good at controlling any algae you may have, damsels(although they can be scrappy with each other), fairy wrasses(regular wrasses are not reef safe so make sure you choose wisely), cardinal fishes(these fish are a bit timid with more aggressive species),blennies(these don't get along too well with each other so only one per tank is recommended), gobies(although some may rearrange your landscape), firefish(these are very beautiful reef fishes), and clownfish(of course). So you see there are so many species to choose from and even more of a variety among each of these that I could not list them all. I hope I gave you a good place to start though and if you have any more questions on certain fish with in these groups please feel free to ask!
