Care of coldwater fish

I have 7 White Cloud Mountain Minnows (I think thats the correct name) and I recently put a light on top of the tank. However there are now small bubbles on thr surface of the water and I don't know why. Any suggestions. Thanks

The name is exactly right. White Clouds are nice little fish. One of my favorites.

The bubbles probably indicates the need for a 25% water change. Do that right away. If I could get a bit more info from you we can figure out what's going on.

How big is the tank?
How long has it been set up?
What kind of filter system?
How often do you change water and clean the tank?
