Filtration?

I have a 55 gallon setup with nothing but 2 inches of gravel and 5 medium sized fancy goldfish that I set up several months ago and I can't seem to get the water clear. I have 2 aqua clear 60 filters hanging off the back and wanted to know what you recommend to get the water cleared up. Thanks.

Hi John,
It seems you have more than enough filtration, but if I am not mistaken, Aqua Clear filters use a sponge and carbon system?
What I do is add some filter floss, or glass wool as some call it.
I sort of layer it over the top of the sponge then add the carbon on top. It really filters the water clearly.

I do have to ask...Have you tested the water for high ammonia?
High ammonia can cause cloudiness.
If the ammonia is normal, then just get some filter floss and you will see the difference over night.
