Question
Hello,
I have a community fresh water tank. I have five smaller fish in a 10 galloon (gourami, mollies and one black skirt tetra).  Recently, I noticed that my tetra looks like he is twitching, its like his body kinda wants to float on the side, but he is fighting it. I also noticed he looks a little bit swollen not too noticeable. so i think he is sick but not too sure wut to do!?  I had a real plant in there that died....could that have contributed?? I'm not too sure wut to do how to cure him....please  let me know! thank you....

Answer
Hi Shanna
Do you have a test kit to test ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates?  If so, what are those readings?

How often are you doing water changes?

How much water do you change out at a time?

How long's the tank been set up?

If you're on city water, are you using a dechlorinator?

And....how long was the dead plant sitting in the tank(dead)?
