what;s wrong with my guppie.

Hello, can you advise what's wrong with my guppie, she had about 50 fry last week and since then she has not been the same the next day after giving birth her fins were all close to her body and she was not swimming well. i put her in a neting tank and kept her alone for a couple of days she seemed good so i transfered her back and about a day later she is swimming sideways and upwards not much poo coming out just a long thin white string and her belly looks very white not bloated i tried giving her a pea not much luck. In the tank is one angel fish about 70 guppies and about 30 bristlenose catfish the tank is 156 litres and all levels are okay. Can you advise before she dies or there is a disease before it spreads.

Hi Sandii;

Sometimes guppy moms just don't do very well after giving birth. Keep her isolated and change 25% of the water in her tank every day to help her immune system. Feed her foods such as frozen brine shrimp and worms to help build her up again. I hope she gets better soon...
